As a Vice President/Senior Vice President of Restructuring & Private Equity you will support the lender advisory and capital efforts to solve complex problems, driving pragmatic solutions that are focused on creating value and maximizing returns for all constituents involved.We currently provide workout advisory services to supplement or replace in-house workout teams and take fiduciary stakes in troubled credits and zombie companies with an eye to continue to grow the capital business buying and selling distressed loans and making special situations investments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Perform analysis of current and historical business performance

-Build and manage 13-week cash flow forecasts, three statement/operating models to assess the financial viability of client’s operations and strategic efforts

-Understand credit agreements and coordinate with third parties to provide an assessment on legal options

-Provide credit risk and workout potfolio management services

-Work with clients to understand legal remedies and provide strategic alternatives to maximize recovery of a stressed/distressed loan

-Provide implementation/interim support on operating functions and job duties

-Take an active role in developing, structuring, and executing transactions

-Assist in the creation of investment memorandum for capital and debt investments and workout alternatives by providing quantitative and qualitative analysis under the guidance of experienced investment professionals

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

-Minimum of 7 years of prior credit experience required ideally leading workouts and restructurings in a leveraged lending environment or restructuring advisory, restructuring investment banking or distressed situations experience, or distressed middle market investing

-Relationships in the distressed / special situations space is a plus

-Finance, Accounting, or Economics degree preferred.Masters/MBA and Series 7 and 63 will be an added advantage

-Advanced level of experience in financial modeling with ability to build 13-week cash flow forecast and 3-statement financial models

-Advanced ability to decipher large and complex data sets as a basis for developing value added conclusions

-Experience with all aspects of an loan acquisition process and performing valuation analysis

-Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of client personnel

-Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task

-Strong composure and demonstrated maturity working in rapidly changing environments

-Ability to build and sustain strong and trusted relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

-Proven ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

-Team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment

-Comfortable working in an environment that both values and fosters initiative, creativity, and professionalism

-Demonstrated interest in finance and financial markets

-Willingness to travel
