Role Objective: The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team and driving revenue growth for the company. This individual will build and develop existing relationships as well as identify and establish new partnerships. The successful candidate will possess a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of sales success.


What You Will Do:

Develop & Execute Growth Strategy

  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall company goals and objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities, target markets and industry trends to drive business growth
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our existing client base
  • Collaborate with the executive team to define the growth strategy
  • Continuously analyze and evaluate sales data to identify areas for improvement

Sales & Business Development

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects and partners
  • Stay up to date on products, industry developments and competitive landscape
  • Empower, motivate, and enable sales team to meet mutual revenue goals and exceed sales targets
  • Develop presentations for speaking engagements at various industry conferences.
  • Develop, refine and implement best-in-class sales training curriculum that is deemed exemplary by management and the Board of Directors that effectively drives strong returns internally.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales organization while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance, and ethical behavior.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal close
  • Leadership & Development
  • Refine and govern the Sales organization’s performance management system, including establishing guiding sales organizational principles for managing performance, establishing and prioritizing critical performance measures for all sales jobs; allocate organization objectives across all sales channels, markets and personnel while ensuring all sales associates are held accountable for assigned results.
  • Develop and clearly articulate (1) the value proposition for KL solutions and products, (2) corporate brand message and (3) differentiators to customers, peers, teams, prospects, and partners

Strategic Partnerships

  • Create a deep communication loop that allows information to flow freely from customer to KL which better allows marketing and technology development teams manage product pipelines, technology development and understand where gaps/opportunities exist in the market and what customer problems exist that could be profitably solved in future products by KL.
  • Collaborate with partners to drive joint marketing and sales initiatives, resulting in increased business opportunities
  • Develop, nurture, and grow meaningful strategic partnerships to enhance our service offering and expand market reach

Revenue & Financial Management

  • Drive profitability by effectively managing resources, pricing strategies and project delivery
  • Implement predictable, repeatable, and scalable sales and marketing processes using data analytics, and manage a consistent pipeline and forecasting methodology that provides the CEO and Board of Directors clear expectations for planning purposes.
  • Develop annual revenue forecasts, budgets and sales plans, ensuring alignment with growth objectives
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics and implement corrective action as necessary

What We Need:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in business concentration or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Experience

  • 7-10+ years of experience in a sales leadership role with appropriate industries
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS company
  • 4+ years of experience in successful senior sales role in high-growth, entrepreneurial cultures
  • 2+ years of experience working with sales technology

  • Track record of recruiting and attracting prior employees.
  • Ability to monitor and manage multiple initiatives concurrently
  • High level organizational skills, time management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and effectively handle interpersonal relationships with others
