Job Description

Come join one of the fastest growing esports organizations in North America! OXG is adding a senior executive to our partnerships team to shape and mold our partnership sales motion and team structure. We are looking for a dynamic leader with deep sports & esports relationships and knowledge. The perfect candidate demonstrates a proven ability to develop and sell innovative partnerships and is somebody who can ultimately serve as a strategic advisor to help guide OXG into the future. You must understand industry trends, hold strong relationships with contacts at endemic and non-endemic brands, generate strong prospect volume and create new partnerships that delight OXG’s fanbase base and drive OXG’s revenue targets.


Responsibilities:


·Develop and execute plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.

·Create and communicate sales goals and forecast sales on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to C-level executives.

·Work collaboratively with marketing, team operations, facility operations and other functions to service partners at all stages of the sales cycle.

·Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, agencies and other industry stakeholders.

·Actively understand the esports and sports partnership eco-system and be able to ideate and execute OXG’s brand strategies based on real time updates within the space.

·Develop a deep and thorough understanding of the partner or prospect’s business and competitive environment, building partnerships that deliver against business objectives for the partner and drive affinity for OXG’s teams in the marketplace.

·Effectively communicate OXG & Helix eSports value proposition through presentations and proposals.

·Build and maintain OXG’s Sales Inventory List and effectively prioritize the brand categories.

·Utilize data and research tools to identify prospects in new categories, to demonstrate how OXG’s values and properties align with a prospect’s target markets and corporate values.

·Provide thought leadership during ideation phase; develop customized, integrated and creative partnership proposals that demonstrate insight and knowledge of clients’ business, and OXG’s unique value proposition.

·Lead the partnership development process from initial outreach through contract execution and partnership activation.

·Ensure contractual obligations to partner and look for areas to exceed expectations.

·Brainstorm and ideate around additional opportunities to grow presence within existing partnerships.

·Help lead long-term department initiatives and projects including growing partnership & activation team in conjunction with executive team.

·Support executive team on strategic projects.


Qualifications

·10+ year’s experience in sports, live event or esports organizations in a forward facing, quota carrying partnership/activation role.

·Knowledge of esports and experience in online entertainment or new media with an understanding of social platforms (Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).

·Experience developing strategic partnerships in the digital, media, sports, and/or tech industry.

·Preference for fast-paced environment with limited formal structure and process.

·Strong working knowledge of contracts and legal frameworks.

·Experience leading partner negotiations.

·Exceptional communication skills with a desire to exercise transparency and give/receive feedback.

·Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with the ability to build materials and present findings effectively at the executive management level.

·Experience managing multiple projects and executing across a quickly evolving product.
