Job Description
We are searching for a dedicated and experienced VP of Operations for an innovative, high-growth company in the dining & entertainment space! The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing unit-level and corporate teams, and reporting directly to the CEO and CFO of the company.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Drive strategy and adherence to matters of the organization
  • Travel to units and assisting in all openings of new venues
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, standards, policies, and procedures to optimize overall operational performance, drive revenue growth, and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Managing the operations of the organization from the top down
  • Create and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, product knowledge, and service standards, fostering a culture of exceptional guest service.
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance, areas for improvement, and develop action plans to drive operational excellence.
  • P&L and cost accountability company wide - assuring all teams hit and maintain their budgeted targets
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes, streamline workflows, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development across the business
  • Interview, hire, and mentor US operations management team.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, financial results, and key metrics to the executive team.
  • Building, scaling, and managing the operations of up to 10+ business units over the next five years
  • Stay informed of evolving regulations, laws, licensing requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate operational risks across the US.
  • Manage the quarterly and annual budgeting process and P&L responsibilities
  • Open new venues in multiple cities and identifying key milestones leading up to being open to the public.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
Requirements
  • Depth of knowledge with construction projects and design
  • 5 - 10 years experience in big box, high-volume restaurant operations with an entertainment aspect
  • Must be proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and specifically Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with different types of people and different management styles.
  • 4-10 years in a similar role, responsible for total unit volume in excess of $50MM annually.
  • Knowledge of financial software
  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Accounting, or related field - MBA a plus.
