JOB SUMMARYPhoebe Putney Health System is seeking an experienced healthcare chief information officer that will oversee the operation of the information systems department and consults with other system leaders on technology-related needs and purchasing decisions. The CIO will will develop, plan, and implement an information technology (IT) strategy that meets the needs of the Health System. The successful candidate will have experience but not limited to the following areas:

• Ensuring IT strategies and processes support company-wide goals
• Planning, deploying and maintaining IT systems, security and operations
• Developing and overseeing the IT budget
• Managing the organization's software development needs
• Developing and enforcing IT best practices across the organization
• Staying updated on IT trends and emerging technologies
• Managing IT staff and developing department goals
• Developing IT policies, procedures and best practices

• No Third Party vendors

Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Master's degree in computer science, IS administration, business administration or healthcare management (Preferred)
• 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Required)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 10 years experience in administration of information systems and technology with an increasing responsibility throughout (Required)

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES

• CHCIO (Preferred)
