Utilities Operations Management Consultant

Utilligent is seeking a Senior Consultant, experienced in Electric and Natural Gas Transmission and Distribution Utilities. The Senior Consultant will be expected to provide Systems Integration and Management Consulting services to Utilligent clients. The successful candidate will have proven experience as a consultant in multiple functional aspects of Electric and Natural Gas Utility Operations.

Candidates with hands on experience in process re-engineering, system integration, business/data analysis and organizational design within the utility industry is required.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have experience working with, and capable of leading work streams covering one or more of the following areas:

• Engineering / Construction: The design and construction of Electric and Natural Gas infrastructure including design standards, engineering processes, design estimating, construction management and the relevant tools and technologies supporting these functions.
• Work and Asset Management (EAM): Full Work Management Lifecycle, Asset Management Strategy and Execution, Asset Hierarchy and Modeling, Material Traceability and the relevant tools and technologies supporting these functions.
• Operations & Maintenance: Including Electric and Natural Gas systems maintenance, PHMSA compliance inspections, damage prevention, and the relevant tools and technologies supporting these functions.
• Field Work Execution: The Planning, Scheduling, Dispatch and Field Reporting of Construction and Operations & Maintenance work orders and the relevant tools and technologies supporting these functions.

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluating current state business processes, and developing future state process improvement recommendations.
• Providing benchmarks and recommendations on key business performance indicators
• Updating, communicating, implementing and maintaining business procedures.
• Leading client workshop sessions, meetings and presentations.
• Documenting and communicating business process design changes.
• Recommending best practices, business standards and industry regulations based on organizations such as, APPA, AGA, EEI, DOT, EPA, etc.
• Recommending best practices, business standards and industry regulations based on organizations such as, APPA, AGA, EEI, DOT, EPA, etc.
• Evaluating operational and financial performance based on historical data and identifying improvement opportunities with supporting data model development.
• Providing benchmarks and recommendations on key business performance indicators.
• Working closely with clients, team members, managerial staff, and vendors.
• Leading functional and technical teams in the analysis, design and implementation of process and technology initiatives.

Employment type: Full-time or Sub-Contractor Opportunity. FTE Preference

Salary Range: $110,000 - $185,000

Location: Client locations throughout the US. MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL AS NEEDED
