Transportation Logistics Manager, North & Central America

Our client is a global growth-mode global logistics solutions company.

As the Transportation Logistics Manager for NA + Central Americas Region, this position will be responsible for optimizing and coordinating transportation and logistics activities throughout the region.

Primary objective is to ensure efficient movement of goods, streamline operations, and enhance customer satisfaction while aligning with our organizational goals and objectives.

This position will report directly to the Director of Operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business/ Supply Chain/ Logistics management or a relevant field.
• Continuous Improvement mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse management and logistics operations.
• Familiarity with North and South American transportation regulations and customs procedures.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience working with trucking companies, brokers, and logistics partners.
• Proficiency in transportation and logistics software and technology; SAP knowledge is preferred.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong leadership skills and track record of achieving operational objectives.
• 8-10 years' transportation and logistics experience, focused on trucking, customs operations, and international freight management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
