Overview
As a trainer within Global Knowledge your primary role will be to represent Global Knowledge whilst delivering high quality education in accordance with vendor-specification, and to the quality standards documented in Global Knowledge’s quality procedures.
A trainer will also provide sales support where necessary, keep abreast of technology and industry changes and feedback delegate’s sales leads in a timely fashion. When not on platform delivering trainers will work with sales and product management, providing sales support and customer engagement, respond to all operational, sales and customer requests within allotted time-scale and attend, where necessary vendor TTTs and be prepared to redeliver to all FTE trainers as and when required. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
Opportunity Highlights

• Represent the Skillsoft / Global Knowledge values – demonstrating a can do and positive attitude at all times.
• Deliver training courses as specified by the course vendor and in consultation with designated scheduling manager.
• Deliver courses at all Skillsoft / Global Knowledge centres and customer sites when required.
• Work closely with the designated scheduling manager to ensure that trainer utilisation meets or exceeds the company requirements.
• Deliver training courses to the required quality standards as detailed in Skillsoft / Global Knowledge’s quality procedures.
• Establish, build and maintain positive relationships and communication channels with all operational team members.
• Manage the classroom to optimise training experience.
• Adhere to vendor-specific requirements including but not limited to obtain / renew certificates and following required examination and invigilation guidelines.
• Responsive to contact requests, information and customer enquires.
• Provide sales support in the form of qualified leads and customer visits.
• Attain the required standards in transfer of technical skills and delivery techniques.
• This is not intended to be a full definition of duties and you will be expected to assist in such duties as may be required
• Pursue agreed development plans and ensure that preparation time and team assessments are utilised to achieve these plans.
• Perform any other duties as deemed necessary to support the growth and goals of Skillsoft / Global Knowledge.
• Keep abreast of industry and vendor technology, exam and certification guidelines, distributing information to colleagues where applicable.
• To be qualified and authorised to deliver assigned training courses prior to first delivery, ensuring the appropriate vendor process is followed.

Essential
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Facilities Management skills, IT skills and technical knowledge; strong problem-solving skills; good negotiating skills and excellent communication skills.
• The trainer should have taught and delivered various Project Management classes in Prince, Agile, and PMI

Desirable

• Ideally the job holder will hold vendor certifications with significant experience in a similar role.
