The Digital Graphic Designer will contribute to the ideation and execution of memorable digital experiences across The North Face’s digital platforms. Reporting to a Digital Art Director, the Digital Designer is a self-starter with a solutions-focused attitude who can work independently as well as collaboratively. This role is responsible for concepting, driving execution, and production of direct-to-consumer experiences including but not limited to emails, site placements, and site experiences.

Responsibilities

• Ability to understand a brand big idea and translate it to multiple digital environments and platforms.
• Partner with design and copy teams to drive the brand’s consumer-facing Digital Commerce experiences.
• Collaborate with creative partners and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative design solutions that elevate our brand and product storytelling.
• Develop and deliver creative content that will build brand equity and drive commercial results across digital channels.
• Champion the brand identity and adhere to design standards.
• Support, develop and/or create graphic executions of brand global, regional and seasonal initiatives.
• Support the Digital team in achieving brand goals and objectives.

Required Skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver a consistently high standard of work—all while meeting deadlines.
• Deep knowledge of responsive and adaptive design.
• Keeps up with current trends, color, media, technology and other design influencers.
• 3-5 years professional experience in digital design—eComm focus preferred.
• Experience in video and motion graphics a plus.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe CC and Figma with the desire to continuously hone your design skills.
• Genuine passion for the outdoors a bonus.
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles to collaborate on wireframing, prototyping and journey mapping with the UX team.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle feedback, or provide tactful rationale for your work, and translate into brand-relevant creative that meets the needs of the business and our internal stakeholders.
• Highly self-motivated work ethic with a genuine passion for design, typography, and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Sophisticated design aesthetic with command of typography, layout, color, and communication design principles.
• Understanding and application of digital best practices, including ADA compliance.

Pay Range:

$66,528.00 USD - $99,792.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential:

This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
