Director, Product Management, Apparel (Global TNF)
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement promoting professional growth and development of the team.
- Ensure you and your team remain current with competitor product offerings, the global marketplace and consumer trends.
- Represent team at key product creation meetings driving to accurate brief execution and ensuring the product serves the Brand Roadmap
- Champions a work environment that supports teamwork, inclusion, and respect.
- Oversee the creation of seasonal briefs ensuring FOB target setting, margin, price points, and style choice reflects a global opportunity reflective of the brand.
- Work in close partnership with Senior Director Product Management, Design Director, Merchandising Director, Development Director and key stakeholders in EMEA, APAC and America’s regional offices.
- Manage short, mid and long-term projects while providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Responsible for cross-functional teams working together to deliver product against the line plan, brief, product positioning and product excellence.
- Develops management and leadership capabilities in team members.
- Hold teams accountable to the overall accuracy and timeliness of the data management system, tool creation for merchandising partners as well as product knowledge transfer.
- Driving key initiatives to support the franchise management, amplify key innovations and 3-year planning.
- Ensure clarity of written line plans and actionable briefs reflect marketplace opportunities balanced with brand right business decisions.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of consumer, marketplace, product and competitor insights to provide long term vision and framework to seasonal line plans.
- Participate in business planning, targeting, and seasonal financial planning to ensure the product line will satisfy or exceed the company financial goals.
- Provide strategic direction, leadership, mentorship and inspiration to a diverse team of product managers to deliver industry leading solutions.
- 6+ years proven management experience leading a team in line planning architecture from concept/ design through sell-in while adhering to strict timelines in adherence to the product calendar.
- Proactive approach to identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best solutions with a values driven commitment to do what is right.
- Strong ability to inspire and build a mindset and culture of innovation within your team and beyond.
- High degree of agility and adaptability.

- Able to make tough decisions and take calculated risks while holding others accountable for making sound decisions.
- Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience
- Excellent collaboration skills, including a proven ability to communicate with various levels of management and employees within the organization.
- Deep performance, active and/ or outdoor industry knowledge, being able to act as a market expert for the business.
- 10+ years of experience in apparel as a business leader with major business driving functions including product management, merchandising, or product development.
- Superior project planning with an ability to develop and manage multiple timelines and deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics and profitability analysis.
- You must be able to lead and influence others and be comfortable presenting in front of large groups of people.
- You have a strong instinct and passion for product, blending art and science with a consumer centric approach to decision making.
- Strong product acumen with working knowledge of apparel product development processes, including design, development, sourcing and manufacturing.
- Growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning new tools and problem-solving.
