Copywriter, Branding & Packaging (TNF Global)

What You Will Do

As a member of TNF Brand Identity team, you will report into the Senior Manager Branding & Packaging. You will be responsible for creating the brand voice and tone for product copy including product naming and descriptions. Ensures consistency of voice across categories and seasonal product communication. Works closely with Product teams, Legal, Testing, Stewardship and Sustainability to craft concise product copy across footwear, apparel, and equipment.

How You Will Make a Difference:

• Differentiate products through effective product-specific copywriting.
• The Copywriter will be responsible for developing and communicating the consumer product features, benefits and technologies.
• The Copywriter will manage the legal review and approval process for all product copy.
• Work with all Product Managers to learn seasonal product lines and technologies in an effort to effectively craft concise product descriptions.
• Oversee external translation partners.
• Responsible for the editing and proofreading of extensive technical content and specifications for accuracy. Use correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and structure throughout all materials created.
• Create and maintain a content database for all product copy and technologies.
• Update and or modify our brand copy guidelines.

What You Will Bring:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 7+ years of experience in technical and creative writing experience, preferably within the Outdoor industry or related field.
• Growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning new tools and problem-solving.
• Proficiency required in Word, Excel, Acrobat and PowerPoint on MAC platform.
• High degree of agility and adaptability
• Proactive approach to identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best solutions with a values driven commitment to do what is right
• Passion for your work equal to your passion for getting outside and living it
• Excellent collaboration skills and an ability to manage multiple timelines and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related field
• Exceptional command of the English language; additional fluency in another language is a plus, but not necessary.
• Detailed oriented with an exceptional talent for proofreading.

Pay Range:

$88,128.00 USD - $132,192.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential:

This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
