Graphic Designer / E-Commerce Jobs

Margot Elena Companies & Collections, a trendsetting industry leader, produces beautiful indie bath, body, and lifestyle brands. We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Graphic Designer / E-commerce to join our Creative Team.

The Role

As a passionate Graphic Designer, you'll be responsible for creating e-commerce campaigns for marketing our Margot Elena brands including emails, social media assets, advertisements, and front-end website visuals in addition to organizing materials for external vendors in close collaboration with Creative Leadership and the Marketing Manager. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring your visual acuity and skill to realization by creating beautiful customer experiences for a design-driven independent beauty company.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute on-brand creative solutions for a variety of e-commerce marketing initiatives such as email, social media graphics, digital ads, websites, and microsites in static or video/gif formats within the scope of goals, deliverables, and schedule. Focus on B2B and B2C email design and templates.
• Leverage video and photography assets with post-production editing, adding type and sound to build compelling motion graphics and animations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Create engaging graphics using expert skills in typography, layout, color schemes, and iconography with an eye for detail and excellence. Understand and apply brand standards and creative direction.
• Occasionally support Creative Team assignments such as print or special events.

Qualifications

• A diverse portfolio demonstrating a passion for great design, contemporary digital marketing, and a mastery of online visual communication for product and branding, including examples of compelling email design and motion graphics.
• A positive outlook, welcoming creative / marketing direction, and feedback.
• Nice to have: Ability to edit, proof, and write copy. Experience in manipulating and editing footage.
• Experience with CRM and social media platforms with an understanding of ADA compliance, and best practices for email, web, and mobile.
• Must have 3-5 years minimum of professional studio or agency experience. BA or BS degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent work experience.
• A meticulous eye for detail and the ability to produce error-free work.
• Exemplary communication skills, and the capability to track and show progress.
• You're a highly organized self-starter, a driven team player, and a collaborator with excellent time management skills alongside the ability to work on multiple projects at a high caliber level, delivering on time.
• A passion for changing and new technologies, all things design, contemporary culture, and staying current on the latest developments of ecomm marketing trends.
• High level of expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, Lightroom, Express, and After Effects).

Benefits

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $55,000. - $67,000. depending on relevant factors, including professional experience and portfolio.
