Position Summary : Achieve volume and category sales objectives through the assigned accounts within the territory. Effectively manage the accounts to improve sales, profitability, and relationships with Phillip's retail partners and vendor partners. This candidate should be comfortable with frequent travel and be able to generate new sales leads on a regular basis. The candidate should be able to keep track of their sales and effectively communicate with other team members while out in the field.


We are looking for someone to be based in the region listed below:


This region will cover Tampa down to Naples Florida


Responsibilities


  • Communicate effectively with other members of the team.
  • Educate clients and attend trade shows to conduct product demonstrations.
  • Set and exceed quotas.
  • Track and report sales in an organized manner
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Generate potential leads for future sales.

Position Requirements


  • Ability to leverage computerized systems and spreadsheets to measure and analyze efficiencies
  • Must have a valid driver’s license; reside in assigned territory with auto and current auto insurance
  • 3-5 years of sales experience – Pet Industry preferred
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Travel within assigned territory; up to possibly 50% overnight travel may be required INDPPFS
  • Associate degree from an accredited college
