Ledgent Technology is looking for Technical Field Support with the below background.
Title: IT Field Support
Location: Hybrid / (Travel to the client’s site)
Contract to hire.
The position reports to the Client Service Delivery Manager and Regional Manager.
You will be traveling to client sites to provide onsite IT support to the Northern California bay area as needed (San Francisco, Fremont, Moran Hill, San Jose, Concord, Walnut Creek, etc.). When not at a client site. You will be working from home.
As a CSDS, you will be the primary point of contact for client technical concerns in the Northern California greater bay area. You will be working closely with the other members of the team to flexibly serve the Company’s client technology needs, contractual requirements, and mission and objectives.
Responsibilities:
• The first point of contact between the Company’s clients and the Company. Represent the Company professionally in all interactions with Company and Client representatives including assistance with technology recommendations and selections.
• Service Desk/Technical Support: First level (level 1) support. Gathers information, opens tickets, and performs basic troubleshooting steps to find solutions. Escalates as required to level-2 support.
• Desktop support: Provides support of desktop hardware, applications, peripherals, desktop connectivity, and mobile devices.
• Network troubleshooting/Physical connections: Ability and knowledge of working systematically through issues involving the physical layer of a network to provide on-site assistance to resolution or to second-tier support and/or third parties.
• Printers: Ability and knowledge of working systematically through installation, troubleshooting, and issues involving printers and similar peripherals.
• Application support: Provides level-1 support for a set of applications. May be involved in building processes and maintenance activities.
• Project management: Project delivery and management of technology projects when and as required.
