Application Support Analyst Jobs

Under general direction, provides professional information technology work in support of Information Technology (IT) Division's programs and services; as assigned, provides analytical, technical, administrative and operational support for IT Applications; develops, implements, updates, maintains and/or enhances technology products, equipment and solutions including software applications. Works with users to understand and define needs; and performs related duties as assigned.

• Responds to user requests; researches and analyzes processes, applications, system capabilities and limitations; defines user needs and requirements; develops and implements IT solutions; leads and manages projects, as assigned;

• Monitors the operating performance and system availability of assigned software; performs testing, maintenance, upgrades and/or installations;

• Researches and evaluates solutions; recommends, plans, and/or assists with the purchase and implementation of equipment, systems and other technology products

• Implements applications software upgrades and applications software;

• Prepares technical documentation and instructional manuals on the functionality and use of relevant hardware and software applications;

• Works with users to identify business procedures, workflows and problems; proposes, designs, and implements applications solutions;

• Responsible for designing and developing computer applications, modifying them to improve workflow and efficiency, and implementing enhancements designed to serve new purposes;

• Schedules, monitors, tests, and assists with the implementation of computer software applications;

• Assists in designing and developing enterprise database systems; monitors the performance, integrity and security of application databases;

• Designs, develops and maintains reports and dashboards based on business requirements;

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology, SDLC environment.

• Must have experience supporting large portfolio of apps.

• Experience demonstrating leadership or project management experience

• Hands-on development experience (nice-to-have)
