Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure the teams allocated to each project understand the business's priorities and are aligned to them.
- Keep project execution statuses up-to-date in standard work tracking tools (e.g. Jira) and processes, including everything from information about timelines to milestones of specifically defined deliverables.
- Propose facilitation process enhancements to improve project execution.
- Facilitate and lead multiple clinical technology projects execution on day-to-day basis and working across multiple departments.
- Identify dependencies between projects that might affect the delivery date, and coordinate dependencies between teams.
- Understand the workflows and technology department processes to support onboarding for new hires
- Report deviations on projects progress and timeline under the program to stakeholders (business, technology, and others).
- Identify and mitigate risks to project progress.
- Track project workstreams and the flow of information, not only inside the technology department, but throughout the whole organization
- Facilitate daily technology standups, retrospectives, and regular demo sessions.
- Stay abreast of new Epic technology, applications, processes, etc. and suggest optimizations relevant to the business goals
- Propose project team process enhancements that drive delivery timelines maintaining quality standards without elevating cost
- Prepare inputs for review of planned vs actual resource allocation per project.

Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to present to and manage communication with business/IT executive leadership
- 12+ years of experience in project management
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate working sessions with large, cross-functional teams (business, technical)
- Proficiency with system development lifecycles such as waterfall and agile
- Advanced knowledge on Epic build and workflows
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio
- Familiar with process improvement techniques: business (Six Sigma, total quality management) and/or IT processes (i.e. SDLC, technical change management, agile management)
- Preferred location: Colorado Springs, CO, Dallas, TX, Hartford, CT, Pittsburgh, PA, Boulder, CO, Houston, TX, Nashville, TN, Tampa, FL, Eden Prairie, MN, Phoenix, AZ, St. Louis, MO
- Either a BS degree in Business, Operations Management or technical field such as Engineering OR 4+ additional years of equivalent technology project management experience OR a PMP certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Project management certification - PMI preferred or other applicable/credentialed project management certifications
- Healthcare experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
