Job Description
What to Expect
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to own all aspects of the Tesla Bot Fleet. This role’s scope includes organizing and implementing fleet optimizations, with responsibilities ranging from coordinating prototype hardware installation/evaluations, maintaining the testing integrity of bots from a software/hardware perspective and much more.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop an understanding of the Bot software development cycle.
  • Develop working relationships cross-functionally within Tesla, to gain a broader understanding of Bot level systems.
  • Handle allocation and acquisition of Bot fleet vehicles across teams.
  • Monitor the utilization of Bot fleet usage and leverage telemetry to make data driven decisions.
  • Develop a grasp of Tesla’s electrical and diagnostic systems.
  • Create development and validation test plans for evaluation of Bot features.
  • Triage issues and building action plans to resolve Bot level issues for engineering use.
  • Ownership of the Bot fleet by communicating and coordinating actions across all stakeholders; including engineering, software, QA, operations, etc.
  • Work with the QA teams to facilitate hardware-in-loop testing of Bot features.
