Job Summary
The Director of Operations and Continuous Improvement will be responsible for building and executing an Operational Excellence Strategy and Roadmap for the T J HEALTH PARTNERS THE WALMART CLINIC. This includes the identification, assessment, documentation and analysis of existing practices, related process improvement execution and change management plans needed to implement business process improvements. This role will partner with Directors to identify and implement both cross-functional and intra-departmental improvements, with a focus on opportunities that ensure operations are effective and efficient and improve member/customer experience. This role will also be responsible for several core business operations of the T J HEALTH PARTNERS THE WALMART CLINIC.
Job Duties
- Participate in the SDLC to identify process implications and changes due to the rollout of new technology or data solutions.
- Define and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of T J HEALTH PARTNERS THE WALMART CLINIC operations to provide a quality service and support ongoing business’ growth goals.
- Oversee and ensure the continuous improvement of core business operations including Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery, Safety Committee & Evacuation Procedures and other core operation needs as identified.
- Develop and execute an improvement plan that ensures consistent knowledge and management of T J HEALTH PARTNERS THE WALMART CLINIC business process documentation.
- Develop the T J HEALTH PARTNERS THE WALMART CLINIC staff in applicable capabilities, practices, and tools to consistently operate via a continuous improvement mindset.
- Lead the development and adoption of a Change Management framework for the organization, partnering with key internal stakeholders, such as Internal Communications and Learning & Development.
- Collaborate with Directors and Senior Leadership Team to review current process, identify and prioritize improvements, document best practices, define strategies and lead improvement efforts.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Partner with Product and Technology teams to prioritize the implementation and rollout of new solutions, particularly focused on improvements for capacity, quality, and productivity.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement business initiatives and workflow changes, including communications and appropriate launch plans for stakeholders involved.
- Develop a strategy for identifying business process improvements, including defining program metrics that clearly articulate progress and value, to support overall operational growth.

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university and ten years of operations, consulting, or related experience with 5+ years in a leadership position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience and expertise with frameworks for scaling operations.
- Experience with Business Process Analysis, including Lean principles and practices, including Agile.
- Strong strategic planning, organizational, analytical and execution skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships required for change adoption.
- Experience with Change Management practices in a rapidly growing organization, a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of creating strategic relationships across the business while driving alignment on high-priority, high-visibility initiatives.

- Effective delegation and empowerment of team members.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and diverse groups.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate teams.
- Ability to set clear expectations, provide feedback, and foster a positive work culture.
