About The Team

At DoorDash, we believe that our Merchants are the driving force behind our marketplace. Our Partner Integrations team is dedicated to their success, working tirelessly to build cutting-edge technology services that empower merchants to grow their businesses seamlessly. With our API Platform, we manage store, menu, and order data in real-time, serving hundreds of integrators and powering thousands of merchants. As DoorDash expands its scale and breadth of integrated delivery offerings, we are seeking talented individuals to join us and further enhance our technical prowess.

About The Role

As a manager-level TAM Team Lead on our Restaurant Partner Integrations team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and deepening integrations with point-of-sale systems and aggregators that power the majority of DoorDash’s restaurant partners. Externally, you will be the face of Technical Account Management – representing Integrations at DoorDash with the support of your 3 direct reports. Internally, you will operate in a highly cross-functional role – strategically collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, Partnerships, Sales and S&O teams to develop and operate world-class integrations that fuel DoorDash's growth. Reporting to a Manager on our Partner Integrations team, you will be an integral part of DoorDash's Merchant Strategy & Operations organization.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because…

  • You will serve as the voice of DoorDash in managing external relationships with our point-of-sale and middleware partners, identifying proactive strategic opportunities and handling reactive tactical escalations
  • You will partner with product, engineering, analytics, and sales teams to discover & drive opportunities for improvement based on data and merchant insights
  • You will empower cross functional partners by partnering with Growth Operations to educate stakeholders on integrations and create user-friendly enablement content
  • You will manage a team that owns the success of third party restaurant integrations by driving initiatives across technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders

We’re Excited About You Because…

  • You are analytical – Your analytical mindset allows you to interpret complex data and extract valuable insights to drive informed product prioritization.
  • You are technically savvy – You possess technical acumen and are comfortable navigating engineering terminology, translating it into practical business understanding.
  • You are a relationship-builder – You excel at building relationships and can influence and motivate individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • You are a problem solver - You thrive on solving complex problems, diving into the details, and providing actionable plans to triage and resolve escalations.
  • You are a people manager - You have proven people and program management skills, overseeing numerous engagements simultaneously.
  • You are detail-oriented – You are process-driven and highly organized, with a keen ability to capture all necessary information in a way that is easily understood by both technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience interfacing and communicating with both business and technical stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Experience leading highly cross-functional teams, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast-moving environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of integrations, APIs, and webhooks
  • POS (point of sale) or restaurant industry experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience translating technical concepts to business solutions
  • 6+ years of experience in technical account management / customer success / software consulting / software implementation / sales engineering / product management.
  • 2+ years of experience managing technical teams
