Job Description

Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer and North America’s first fully integrated cane sugar company, guiding our sugar from farm to table. We are America’s first and only producer of certified organic sugar, grown and harvested in the United States. Our renewable energy facility is the largest of its kind in North America and provides clean energy that powers our sugar operations, which helps us reduce our use of fossil fuels. Florida Crystals also sustainably farms rice, sweet corn and other vegetables in rotation with our sugarcane. Our rice mill is the only rice mill in Florida.

The Talent Management Specialist will support the talent management programs that drive company values, increase employee engagement, and accelerate performance to deliver business results. Talent programs include performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, career development and other strategic projects. The specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR managers, department heads, and senior leadership, to drive talent initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and foster a high-performance culture.


DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection for the early career programs.
  • Assists in the coordination of induction events for the early career programs; participates in check-in’s with program participants and managers on a quarterly basis and organizes annual presentations by program participants.
  • Lead Campus Recruiting for our early career programs (Graduate Development Program, Commercial Development Program, Supply Chain Rotation Program). Coordinate job posting, on-campus relationships and events. Aligns with Sr. Manager, Talent Management and business leaders on demand plan, selection, and candidate placement.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the Affirmative Action Plan, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on AAP goals and progress. Monitors compliance of Good Faith Efforts by HR business partners.
  • Assist end users in troubleshooting of issues related to the SuccessFactors Onboarding, Talent Management and Performance Management modules.
  • Responsible for managing and ordering onboarding gifts for new hires to include vendor management, monitoring and managing the onboarding gift budget and inventory.
  • Supports the design, implementation, and report out of the annual Employee Engagement Survey.
  • Assist in managing of performance and talent management functions to include, but not limited to: performance and talent reporting; change management/communication of performance management and talent management activities; facilitate performance management and talent management training as needed; ensure Talent Review pre-work is completed prior to Talent Review meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Provide guidance to HR managers on EEO and AAP-related matters, fostering an understanding of the importance of diversity and non-discrimination in the workplace.
  • Maintain supply of new hire giveaways and marketing collateral. Monitor inventory and proactively order new stock when needed.
  • Provide talent management support to build end user knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following key areas: Talent Reviews and Calibration, Succession and Performance Management, Assessment/Selection, and Competency Management.
  • Support the Talent Management Teams Organizational Development initiatives as needed.


WORK EXPERIENCES

  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Talent Management Systems with SuccessFactors experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience of effective oral and written communication skills with key stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and managing activities to meet multiple competing deadlines.
  • 3 years' experience in HR-related function that includes talent management, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Certification in talent management or HR-related areas is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Human Resources or a related field

LOCATION OF ROLE

  • Hybrid work schedule, working three days in the office and two days remotely
  • West Palm Beach, FL

  • This position requires up to 10% travel
