The Opportunity
As the Talent Management Lead, you will report to the Head of Talent Management, work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, and other HR and business leaders to design forward leaning and creative talent solutions that deliver business value.
In this strategic and innovative role, you will build, execute, and continuously improve enterprise talent practices, including succession planning, executive assessment and development, and pipeline management. You will shape
develop, and measure strategies that strengthen talent management practices across the enterprise, establish standardized approaches, tools, and methods for scale across multiple lines of business. You will work directly with internal clients, and partner with the HRBPs to plan, prioritize, and manage initiatives. You will engage in talent planning and succession activities at senior leadership levels to ensure the critical talent population is identified, actively developed, and talent is being identified using consistent methods. You will own components of the talent practice to implement across the enterprise and support broader change management efforts as needed.

Talent Management Center of Expertise description
The Talent Management Center of Expertise (COE) is a fast-paced, highly talented, proactive group of innovators that “bring it” every day. We deliver strategy, design, and subject matter expertise to the enterprise in talent management and professional development, which includes succession planning, executive assessments, executive development, digital learning, team / leader effectiveness, performance management, and employee experience solutions.
The Impact: (day to day)
- Build, communicate, and maintain talent review and succession planning processes enabled by technology
- Monitor external talent trends in areas of focus, bring fresh thinking to the table
- Facilitate briefings for leaders on topics that pertain to talent, such as leadership, performance management
- Provide strategic consultation and partnership with HR Business Partner to build out talent strategy
- Implement and execute the talent strategy aimed at strengthening the leadership bench
- For critically identified talent, work with HR to ensure actionable development plans and experiences are in place and then executed to prepare leaders for future assignments, as well as current career growth
- Lead the execution and alignment of cross-business and COE priorities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient data analysis skills (quantitative and qualitative) and ability to identify themes/trends, summarize large amounts of data into a compelling story and tailor message to audience
- 10+ years Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organizational Development and/or HR Business Partner experience in a fast-paced corporate environment; financial services industry experience a plus
- 10-15% travel expected
- Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Word - ability to build senior level presentations
- B.A. degree in related field; or equivalent experience considered
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented, actively participating to foster a positive work environment with peers
- Executive presence and ability to influence, drive change, and negotiate across organizational levels
- Able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities
- Experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, MBA, or related
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience
