Your Impact at SAM
As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will support the Talent Acquisition team and its functions for the HR Department. You will support a team of Corporate Recruiters in managing a positive candidate experience from the interview stage through onboarding. This is an important and functionally critical role; you are the engine that keeps this department running smoothly!
  • Draft offer letters and other company required documents
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Manager with other duties as assigned
  • Compile reports for the HR Coordinator, Payroll Administrator and IT team on weekly basis
  • Coordinate travel schedules and lodging for candidates as needed
  • Coordinate and schedule phone and on-site interviews for corporate recruiters and hiring managers
  • Manage Employee Referral Program
  • Coordinate on-boarding hand-off with HR Coordinator after new hire successfully passes the pre-employment screening process
  • Process requests and approvals for job requisitions and offer letters from hiring managers using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Process pre-employment screenings for all new hires, to include, criminal background checks, drug testing and motor vehicle reports
  • Post job descriptions on SAM career site, job boards and other mediums
What You Bring to SAM
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, communicating effectively and proactively with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Must have demonstrated PC excellence, including working knowledge of, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and online meeting platforms
  • Ability to take direction, anticipate next steps and work independently on assigned tasks as well as contribute within a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task while maintaining the initiative to effectively meet the demands of multiple internal customers
  • Working experience with Applicant Tracking System, ICIMS preferred
  • Motivated and solutions-oriented self-starter, exhibiting timely completion of goals and activities
  • Bachelor degree or 1 year of experience in a fast-paced, high volume, work environment, preferably, supporting recruiting and human resource operations
  • Must be responsive and have the ability to exercise tact and remain customer focused
