Job Description



  • Engage with our users on the floor to understand common issues they face and work with development teams to address
  • Attendance is an essential function to this role
  • Document issues including capture of key application resiliency metrics
  • Assist with basic training of our users on key applications
  • Other duties as assigned. This job description is subject to change at any time
  • Expand upon our troubleshooting documentation to grow our level 1 and 2 support capabilities globally
  • Work directly with our development teams to understand and resolve our users’ issues in real time
  • Take ownership of issues and coordinate activities between teams to help resolve efficiently
  • Enhance automation and monitoring solutions for our analytics application to enable proactive issues resolution


Qualifications


  • 1+ years of working knowledge of SQL
  • Proactive and customer focused “make it work” mentality
  • Team player
  • Resourceful and able to think creatively and adapt
  • Must have demonstrated ability to understand integrated systems and concepts including complex data flows
  • Understanding of commodities trading concepts including market data is beneficial
  • Able to work in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
  • 1+ years of support engineering experience
  • Highly responsive, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including exposure to VBA is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering / technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
