Conexus has been engaged to identify a Senior Vice President for Information Technology for our client, a publicly head real estate investment leader. This professional will provide visionary and strategic leadership for the Technology Department. As the Head of Technology, you will conceive, develop, and execute technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving the implementation of cutting-edge solutions.

About The Role

• Partner with senior management to conceive, develop, and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that drives growth and operational excellence. Identify opportunities to leverage technology for competitive advantage throughout the enterprise.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of technology solutions, including property management systems, CRM, intranet, and data analytics platforms.
• Communicate technology initiatives, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Drive the adoption of digital technologies across the organization, enhancing efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and customer/employee experience.
• Establish and maintain the highest quality and consistency of cybersecurity protocols, ensuring the protection of sensitive data, business continuity, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Evaluate their potential to improve Rexford Industrial's operations and customer offerings.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional development.

About You

• Excellent leadership abilities developing and fostering a cohesive team welcoming collaboration and innovation, mentoring, and encouraging team development and continuous Improvement on all fronts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are strongly preferred.
• Prefer industry experience in real estate and someone who is entrepreneurial spirited, likes to set and reach goals, innovation, seeking ways to add value and make improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, machine learning, data analytics, and their applications in real estate.
• Demonstrated experience creating the technology vision and driving initiatives to fruition.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles
