Key Responsibilities
Be the scientific and technical representative for our program office(s), ensuring seamless project management of the supply chain and logistics for products in development, from early stages to commercialization.
Contribute to concept of operations strategies for new and existing products, ensuring medical countermeasure preparedness, especially during public health emergencies.
Prepare and develop engaging work statements for solicitations, such as Request for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), and Sources Sought Notices (SSNs).
Review and provide valuable insights on contract proposals to drive successful outcomes.
Offer program and project development-level portfolio management and oversight.
Implement innovative approaches to optimize Total Life Cycle Cost (TLCC) efforts.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth contract negotiations on technical matters.
Deliver captivating briefings on relevant subject matters to senior leadership.
Lead or actively participate in market research, cost evaluations, and logistics information analysis to enhance decision-making processes.
Ensure timely and complete submission of data deliverables by manufacturers in the portfolio.
Qualifications
10-15 years of experience in life sciences intellectual property or supply chain industry, including executive-level service(s).
Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering. A JD is desired, and additional coursework in life sciences would be a plus.
Extensive experience in biopharmaceutical supply chain and logistics, covering areas such as warehousing, enterprise and inventory systems, purchasing, and transportation.
Proven expertise in pharmaceutical product development and Total Life Cycle Cost (TLCC) management.
Strong understanding of supplier qualification, management, and customer service practices.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical packaging and distribution solutions.
Proficiency in inventory tracking and systems.
Experience working with regulatory authorities.
