The Role:
Our client, a midsize NYC architecture and design firm specializing in the hospitality space, is looking for a friendly and dynamic Studio Coordinator to assist with various administrative support tasks.
If you have previous experience in administrative roles within a creative industry, this opportunity could be a great fit for you. An ideal candidate is highly attentive to detail and would be comfortable working closely with a broad range of team members across different departments. Daily tasks would include screening incoming communication and managing complex calendars, as well as assisting with organizing internal company events. The role would also involve providing ad-hoc administrative support to the design team, as well as working closely with HR and Operations teams to assist with special projects and initiatives.
This role provides the opportunity for the right candidate to grow professionally within a supportive and creative team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Stock supplies and liaise with building management when necessary
- Be an informational resource and friendly point of contact within the studio
- Plan and book travel, meetings, and appointments for team members when necessary
- Champion a positive and engaging environment within the studio setting
- Assist with planning and budgeting various office events
- Work closely with HR to support special projects and initiatives
Key Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in administration is beneficial, but not required
- Experience acting as a point of contact across departments and assisting with ad-hoc tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex schedules
- Fun, positive, and adaptable – with a genuine interest in architecture + design
