Job Description
Campus Location Main Campus (Memphis, TN) Position Number L24021 Category Staff (Hourly/Monthly) Department UofM Global Minimum Position Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant area and two (2) years of appropriate experience working with fully online learners. Relevant experience may substitute for required education.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Special Conditions
This is a Limited Position contingent upon funding availability.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday
8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Some weekends, nights, and overnight travel as required by recruitment activities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in higher education, are task-oriented, possess excellent organizational, time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills to work well with a diverse population.
Knowledge of university policies, practices, procedures, and terminology. Experience and understanding of fully online student population.
Skill in building public relations effectively.
Experience in office technology, including office machines and MS Office; experience with FileMaker Pro; knowledge of Banner and UMdegree.
Ability to gather and evaluate data and organize and prioritize multiple tasks.

Job Duties

Manages UofM Global Call Center, including responding to student calls and voicemails, referring to additional parties as needed, and tracking call center activity.

Responds to all prospective UofM Global student inquiries and emails. Maintains database of all UofM Global program information for distribution to prospective students. Coordinates with departments to ensure information is up-to-date and appropriate points of contact are identified.

Organizes and coordinates proactive outreach to prospective UofM Global students including emails, robocalls, and texts. Identify various populations segments for outreach and track effectiveness of outreach campaigns. Coordinates with UofM Global staff to create personalized outreach.
