As the Strategic Director, Virtual Care @ Home, you will be responsible for winning business in our Virtual Care @ Home business via owning, developing, and growing business opportunities with strategic partnerships. The role impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working.GE HealthCare is a place with big impact. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Requires specialized knowledge across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. Requires strong commercial awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy for their broad sales territory, including control of resources.
  • Develop and leverage programs designed to improve our Virtual Care @ Home market position and leverage our strengths to win
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Build the sales opportunity funnel to 2-3X the territory goal.
  • Communicate and coordinate with our Care at Home partner to drive commercial and customer success.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • Build strategic partnerships with prospective and current customers and act as a voice of the customers internally within GEHC and our Care at Home partner.
  • Work across the GEHC businesses to promote business activities, share account information and bring synergistic solutions to our customers.
  • Represents multiple business groups (cross product/business/P&L) to named account(s), worldwide, or on a region/ country basis.
  • Work directly with Key Opinion Leaders in the market to build awareness and evidence.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
  • Proactively source and drive new business by creating sales opportunities and capturing previously untapped customers for Virtual Care at Home customers.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years in healthcare industry
  • This role requires significant experience in the Sales & Global and Key Accounts. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Desired Characteristics
  • Experience working with hospital systems, academic medical centers and IDN’s.
  • Experience executing strategic go-to-market operations, processes, and systems
  • Self-motivated, high energy, driven, and confident with the ability to establish instant credibility and rapport with stakeholders, customers, and his/her team
  • 5+ directly leading or influencing teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Extensive organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to provide thoughtful and constructive feedback
  • History of driving double-digit topline growth
  • Experience working in the field of Home Monitoring and/or Remote Patient Monitoring.
  • Proven track record of engaging with customers to drive retention and expansion
  • Demonstrated executive presence
  • Ability to create and effectively communicate healthcare tech value proposition
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Open, engaging, action-oriented sales professional who inspires and holds others accountable
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is124,000.00 - 155,000.00 - 186,000.00 USD Annually. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
