We’re looking for an Associate Director of Care Operations to oversee Brightside’s virtual clinical practice operations as well as lead programs and administrative processes that support care service delivery, efficiency, and process improvement. This individual will manage operations in accordance with performance indicators related to budget, productivity, quality and patient, provider, and staff satisfaction under the guidance of the Vice President of Clinical Operations. The Administrative Director will work cross-functionally with Clinical Leadership, Quality, Compliance, Network Operations, Member Services, Commercial, Product, and Finance to manage and improve the patient experience and increase operational efficiency.


What you’ll be doing as Associate Director of Care Operations:


  • Work closely with the Director of Member Services, and Quality to effectively resolve member complaints and grievances and drive improvement work based on root cause analyses and trends
  • Drive initiatives that support KPIs and develop the action or improvement plans when performance is off track
  • Adhere to human resources, safety, HIPAA and compliance policies
  • Manage day–to-day clinical operations, including meeting defined SLA’s, quality standards, and production metrics
  • Support the Vice President of Clinical Operations in implementing and managing organizational goals and OKRs
  • All other duties as assigned including department-specific functions and responsibilities
  • Monitor the department budget for controlling operational expenses and areas for improvement in collaboration with Finance
  • Manage the operational plans, initiatives, and new programs that support member care operations
  • Provide administrative leadership and make decisions to ensure staff, materials, and financial resources are used efficiently
  • Collaborate and work closely with Network Operations and Quality to ensure providers and staff adhere to standard operating procedures, while promoting and ensuring consistent and efficient delivery of member care services


Requirements:


  • Are a proactive problem solver
  • Are passionate about operations, healthcare innovation, and telemedicine
  • Can take initiative and thrive in a semi-structured and dynamic work environment
  • Strong knowledge of relevant healthcare and clinic operations information technology, including billing systems and patient care workflows and processes
  • Have an MHA or MBA with a healthcare focus
  • Are a meticulously organized and detail-oriented executor
  • Significant knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to the healthcare industry
  • Have experience managing KPIs and developing OKRs
  • Experience in areas of strategic planning, business development, financial management, program development, quality improvement and project management
  • Driven to have a positive impact
  • Are an effective oral and written communicator
  • Have 5-10 years of leadership experience in a complex, multi-faceted healthcare environment (mental and behavioral health a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance environments
