Job Details


Job Summary


The Storm Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and Operations Manager coordinating storm work in the field with the administrative team in the office.


Duties/Responsibilities


  • Assist in project completion and close-out.
  • Communicate effectively and persistently relay information between Project Managers, field operations and within the team.
  • Learning and utilizing project management methodology.
  • Identify process improvements.
  • Develop information for customers and business development.
  • Assisting in estimating and bidding projects.
  • Getting quotes and purchasing materials for projects.
  • Supports Project Managers and field operations.
  • Contract review and management.
  • Administrative support for field operations, timesheets, rosters and submitting forms to the Utility Companies.
  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling company and subcontractor resources.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
  • Assisting the team in upholding safety and quality management standards and protocols.
  • Assists in preparation and coordination of all storm events.


Required Skills/Abilities


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.


Education and Experience


  • Three years of experience in Project coordination/Management.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree in related field preferred.


Physical Requirements


  • 30-50% travel required
  • Must be able to travel for storm events.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
