4+ years of experience in professional purchasing/sourcing or data analysis/supply chain analytics, with a proven track record of delivering results on set targets.
Comprehensive understanding of plant-based operations, financials, and supply chain processes.
Experience in Procurement with a deep understanding of spend insights, RFQs, supplier negotiations, and TCO modeling.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact at all levels and provide project progress reports.
Passion for problem-solving, creating value, and improving processes.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Power user of analytical tools like Excel, Power BI, and database tools.
Experience with SAP, Sievo, E-Procurement/Contracts (Ariba), and Inventory Systems preferred.
Familiarity with category strategy/sourcing process steps or similar stage gate based formal sourcing processes is a plus.
Possess and apply a broad knowledge of Supply Management principles, project management, and risk management practices.
This role will involve some travel, approximately 25-50% as required.
What You'll Do
Your Responsibilities Will Include
As a Sourcing Analyst, you will play a key role in building spend analysis tools to identify untapped opportunities. Working closely with the Procurement team, you'll develop plans to drive cost improvements and increase leverage points through benchmarking and best-in-class sourcing events.
Driving the sourcing process, from RFI to negotiation, to attain optimal results for targeted categories in terms of total cost of ownership (Cost, quality, delivery, payment terms, etc.).
Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess market trends and dynamics.
Preparing and issuing requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and requests for information (RFIs) to potential suppliers, considering data needed for scenario modeling and cost analysis.
Evaluating supplier responses, analyzing proposals, and recommending the most suitable suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and other relevant factors (TCO).
Providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on analysis of demand/market insights, supplier spend data, and supplier performance KPIs for comprehensive decision making on category sourcing strategies.
Driving project meetings with Category Managers and Purchasing Managers and reporting progress on weekly governance meetings.
Collaborating with finance on savings methodology to ensure a strong approval process for all projects delivering to the P&L.
Supporting the Procurement Center of Excellence (COE) in developing and implementing procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Developing skill sets for "best in class" benchmarks, tools, and processes to be used as leverage points in major sourcing events, driving Infinity Adoption.
