Your Role as an Adjunct Instructor: Empowering the Next Generation of Nurses
You will play a vital role in providing a dynamic and engaging learning experience for our students. Under the supervision of the Dean of General Education, you'll have the opportunity to utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, demonstrations, and the integration of audiovisual and technological aids to enhance the learning process.
Key Responsibilities
Keep students engaged in the classroom or online environment while following our established curriculum/syllabus.
Foster a positive and supportive educational climate while clearly communicating learning objectives.
Contribute to meeting course and school-wide student performance goals.
Observe and evaluate student performance, offering valuable feedback and support.
Identify and provide guidance to students who may need extra support to succeed.
Participate in academic committees to enrich both programs and students' experiences.
Qualifications We're Seeking
To excel in this role, you'll need the following qualifications:
Master's Degree: You should hold a master's degree or higher in a related program of study from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
Subject Expertise: A minimum of 15 credit hours or equivalent in the assigned subject area is required.
Educational Experience: Previous work experience as an educator, preferably with a minimum of three years experience, will be highly valued.
Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
