Job Summary

The Sr. Project Manager II manages and oversees all aspects of complex and global projects to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, and outside vendors. The Sr. Project Manager II’s work is performed without appreciable discretion and they exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to their work. They may also provide general direction or guidance to junior members of the team.

What will you do

• Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources
• Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
• Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation
• Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
• Plan, organize, and integrate cross-functional strategic and enterprise projects to deliver specific measured results to both internal and external customers.
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
• Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
• Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
• Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
• Manage project scope and change requests
• Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
• Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes

What do we look for

• Project Management Institute CAPM or PMP certification preferred
• Experience working for a multinational or global organization
• Competent and proficient understanding of business solutions, such as Document Management, CRMs, Business Web Technology, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Administration or Supply Chain required
• 7+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project
