The Role:
As a Senior National Sales Manager you will be given the opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment, exercise creativity and help to grow our brand in National, Mass and Off Price channels.
Every day here is a little bit different, but always dynamic and exciting. You will direct the sales strategy across national retailers. You will work with the team to develop relationships with buyers and a network of sales reps and be responsible for driving revenue, meeting sales targets and exercising your account plans. You’ll have the opportunity to influence product development, as well as brand marketing, by bringing your sales experience and knowledge to the table. You will also have the opportunity to work cross functionally, coordinating with Operations on fulfillment, and Marketing with promotions & trade shows.
The headquarters is based in NYC, and the role reports to the Head of Sales.
Experience Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the omnichannel experience
- Experience managing at least $10 million of business
- At least 5 years wholesale sales experience in national channels
- Interest in pursuing, growing, and maintaining buyer relationships
- Able to be in office (Herald Square, NYC) twice per week
- Adept at business development and creating opportunities
- Experience working with and managing brokers/contracted reps
- Experience working with Target and/or Walmart
- Ready to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with awesome product
- Ability to travel 10%-20% of time
- Adept at analyzing sales data and pulling out a story for a buyer meeting, SPINS and/or IRI, Nielsen
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, intelligent, curious, a team player, great sense of humor and just a nice person to be around.
- Experience developing a promotional plan with key partners and being accountable for trade spend
- Passion for social and environmental responsibility
- Understanding channel P&L management
- Experience with reusables, home cookware or home products

- Past team management experience
