Job Summary:

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Sr. Manager, Creative Talent Development, and Inclusion (CTDI). You will drive programs and initiatives that connect creative talent with diverse stories to opportunities across Disney Entertainment (DET) This person will report directly into the VP, CTDI and strategically partner with all lines of business to enable the most inclusive content and creative culture in direct partnership with our teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with producers and executives to identify creative talent at all levels for opportunities across DET.
  • Provide thought leadership and partnership in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Taking the lead on special projects for the CTDI team as needed.
  • Create and maintain relationships that support talent placement and professional development pipeline.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams across the company and in the wider external community.
  • Oversee multiple standing talent programs and initiatives which include the PA program and Below the Line Talent search for all DE Television pilots and series.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A team player who works well with others.
  • A self-starter, who is assertive, enthusiastic, and highly motivated.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and high-energy environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of the business and creative aspects of development.
  • 5+ years in media and entertainment, with an established track record of championing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience championing equity, and inclusion
  • Experience in sourcing and hiring a BTL crew
  • Knowledge of Air Table is a plus.
  • Strong relationships within the creative community – executives, agents, writers, producers, etc.
  • Background in creative, technology, leadership, and DE&I

Required Education:

  • BA or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $99,440.00 to $136,730.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
