Job Summary
We are looking for top talent to join our HR team as an HR Generalist. The qualifying candidate would be someone who can wear multiple hats and does not mind working with all levels of employees in an organization. The HR Generalist will support the HR team in all areas of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, responding to day-to-day questions, documentation needs, data entry, HR administrative tasks, generating data-driven insights, and a variety of employee practices.
This position requires the ability to rapidly move between topics while effectively communicating ideas and scenarios, advise HR partners, managers, assist with projects, and ensure operational readiness for change across our organization. Responsibilities:
We are looking for you if you have the ability to:

Here is what you will do day-to-day:
- Coordinate new hire orientation and training sessions for new employees.
- Process new hires, terminations, and employee adjustments in the HR system.
- File and maintain employee records.
- Finalize termination paperwork and assist with exit interviews.
- Assist in the development, compliance, and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Serve as a backup for payroll administrative support.
- Provide support to all employees (corporate office and field employees) in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist with Benefits Open Enrollment activities such as the Health Fair event, ensuring all applicable information is communicated to all employees in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Participate in the ongoing improvement of on-boarding, and drive open enrollment, focal and other HR programs providing the back-end support to the HR team.
- Assist with managing the Benefits, worker’s compensation, Leave of Absence and Safety functions that are responsible for employees’ information, welfare, safety, and training.Participate in HRIS projects and ensure integrity of data and maintenance of confidential employee and company information in the HRIS platform.
- Provide regular and ad hoc reports and analytics in support of HRBPs and business leader objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Excellent customer focus with a high sense of urgency. Ability to provide excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to partner and gain cooperation of other functional groups within the company, establish, and maintain good working relationships across the organization.
- Working knowledge of Human Resource practices and procedures and demonstrated professional growth in previous positions.
- Working knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations, and compliance requirements that affect employee programs including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrated experience working with a full spectrum HRIS system, including Self-Service, ATS, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation, project, and organizational skills.
- Ability to efficiently use Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree; and 2-5 years of related experience.
- Strong background in more than one of the following: benefits administration, Workers Compensation, Leaves of Absence, HRIS, on-boarding, and program management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced culture with strong prioritizations skills, and attention to detail.

Pay Range: $28/hr - $42/hr DOE plus annual bonus
