Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join their team in Los Angeles! The ideal candidate should have experience working as a Human Resources Manager with at least 5 years of relevant experience. As an HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the HR operations and implementing best practices to support employee and company growth. Please note this is a temp-hire role!


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct new employee orientations and handle onboarding processes.
  • Partner with payroll to process and review payroll information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
  • Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution in a fair and confidential manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Experience working with ADP payroll and Workday systems is essential.
  • Manage and oversee the entire HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Implement effective employee retention strategies to promote a positive work environment and minimize turnover.
  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract and hire top-tier talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Advise and support managers in employee-related matters, including disciplinary actions.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and employment laws to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, job satisfaction, and overall employee experience.
  • Oversee employee performance evaluation and development programs.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist, with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to drive continuous improvement in HR processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Previous experience with ADP payroll and Workday systems is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
