Sr. Dir, Demand Generation (REMOTE - U.S. based)
About The Role:
We seek an experienced Sr. Dir, Demand Generation for our quickly growing organization. In this role, your contributions will help grow the business by driving high-quality top of funnel demand that converts to qualified pipelines and ultimately, revenue. As part of the larger Marketing team, you will report to our VP, Marketing; together, you will primarily be responsible for building and leading a demand generation team. Key Responsibilities
Key ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for:
  • Playing as well as coaching. We are a roll up your sleeves team. Directly contributing to the work as needed, to ensure the team is successful.
  • Delivery & Results. Managing the execution of the demand generation team on a day to day basis, ensuring that the team is delivering results to impact the business. Analyzing performance and using data to optimize campaigns. Communicating results with frequency to stakeholders.
  • Leadership. Building and leading a demand generation team. This is a newly formed team within Accredible with four direct reports including one current team member and three additional hires to be made. Management of external vendor relationships (i.e., PPC Agency).
  • Organizational alignment. Partnering closely within the Marketing team (Brand, Product Marketing and Marketing Operations) and across the organization especially with SDRs and Sales, Customer Success and Product to achieve cross-functional objectives.
  • Strategy. Translate our business goals and revenue strategy into a demand strategy by market segment (SMB, Mid-market, Enterprise and Customers). Heavily rely on data (to be provided by our newly formed data team) to drive decisions. Effectively communicate the strategy to stakeholders across the business and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Roadmap & planning. Annual and quarterly campaign planning in line with product and feature releases. As this is a new team, initial projects will be needed to set up functions (i.e., Email marketing or ABM) and then ongoing optimization / evolution.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
CompetenciesMust have a track record of successfully building demand generation teams and strategies that drive qualified pipeline for the business.
  • Demand Generation Leadership. Demonstrated demand generation leadership and strategy experience. B2B Tech or EdTech experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail. You do not let important details slip through the cracks.
  • Communication. You are comfortable communicating with senior leaders, participating in open debates to drive toward a decision.
