The Head of Communications & Community Strategy will lead communication (earned) and content (owned) strategy, development and distribution to bring Molekule brand messages and story to life across a diverse mix of brand and social media channels across DTC and B2B lines of business. This role will focus on transforming brand and product marketing strategy into best-in-class content that accelerates community growth and deepens Molekule’s relationship to its audience and clients.


The Head of Comms & Community Strategy is a key leadership position on the marketing team, and requires partnership with cross-functional teams, including Brand Marketing, Growth, Creative, Customer Lifecycle and Paid Media to create holistic and efficient communications and content plans that support each team’s respective needs and overall brand objectives. They will serve as the content nucleus and expert, ensuring strategic development and distribution of content through owned and earned media channels that fuel a client-centric consumer journey across various brand touchpoints. This person will also oversee organic social strategy and execution, influencer strategy and network development, and cross-functional content management.

Across all phases of content planning, production and launch, the ideal candidate will partner with the Creative Team to ensure consistency, tone and aesthetic. This individual will be an expert on digital media marketing trends, and will constantly drive innovation, leveraging data, insights and competitive analysis to drive concepting and optimize content across owned and earned channels.

This role reports directly to the SVP of Growth Marketing and will manage the day-to-day of the Communications, Owned Content, Social, and Influencer, as well as agency partners.
