Job Description

:

The Sagitec, Senior Database Developer, will serve as a lead ETL developer and data analyst, responsible for understanding business requirements, performing data analysis, design, build, test, and implement functionalities based on the business requirements. The candidate will work extensively with Data Conversion Team to populate the Target database and provide reports with metrics on data conversion throughout the Software development life cycle (SDLC) of a complex pension administration solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Excellent technical troubleshooting and code debugging skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Security and User administration.
  • Has a strong understanding of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities.
  • Ability to analyze the data sources, identify the data issues and patterns before Data Migration.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or above.
  • Reporting Tools, ETL Tools experience a plus.
  • Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Interface with customer, gather requirements and create mapping documents.
  • Strong in T-SQL Scripting. Designing, Developing, Testing SQL queries.
  • Pension or Retirement domain experience a plus.
  • Expertise in developing ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (Data Extraction, Transformation, and loading from heterogeneous Sources to SQL Server target).
  • Manage projects with minimal supervision. Proactively addresses actions and issues.
  • Flexibility to work within a technical framework with evolving business requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to learn and support new and existing applications.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and social skills to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Meet daily\weekly\monthly deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in SQL Server, SSIS (ETL Processing).
  • Candidate should posess authorisation to work in USA.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, IT, Management, Business, or related field.
  • Master’s degree a plus.
