Oracle APEX Developer with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle BI Experience

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer with expertise in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing robust and scalable solutions using Oracle APEX, as well as a solid understanding of modernizing Oracle Forms to APEX, integrating Oracle Reports, and migrating to Oracle BI dashboards as required. As an Oracle APEX Developer, you will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality applications that meet business needs. This position is based in the USA and requires US Citizenship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in scrum sessions using Agile development
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle BI technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Design and implement Oracle APEX applications with attention to performance, scalability, and security.
• Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Integrate Oracle APEX applications with Oracle Reports, and Oracle BI to create reports and interactive dashboards for data visualization and PDF reports
• Migrate Oracle Forms application to Oracle APEX utilizing best practices and coding standards
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of Oracle APEX applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and junior developers.
• Interact with other team members and customers on regular basis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, system administrators, and quality assurance teams, to ensure smooth application deployments and operations.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of Oracle databases and SQL.
• Proven experience as an Oracle APEX Developer, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in migrating Forms to APEX.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex applications.
• Experience with PL/SQL programming and performance tuning in Oracle database.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle BI
• Oracle certifications in APEX, Forms, Reports, or BI are a plus.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, coding standards, and version control systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (MS preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The base compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 commensurate with experience. Argano also offers a performance-based bonus and strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Parental Leave and Flexible Time Off.
