Database Mgmt Admin Jobs

The Database Mgmt Administrator will assist Key Control with the Security Management System (SMS) commonly known as Locknetics. This system is used to provide Cast Members with access to doors across the property that require a higher level of security.

You will report to the Team Leader - Engineering Services Manager of Alarms Technical Services and Property Management.

Responsibilities/You Will

• Assist field technicians with uploading and audits of individual locks.
• This role interacts with all levels of Cast Members within the Company as well as outside Vendors, Suppliers, Contractors, and Company Corporate Partners.
• Perform database entry/programming for our access control/key management systems.
• Organize, maintain, and cross-reference data between various systems.
• Process requests for access, troubleshooting, or repairs based on departmental practices.
• Assist with all functions of the Key Control business, including general admin, phone support, and assisting with walk-in traffic.
• Set programming schedules for Locknetics devices.
• Audit Maximo work orders and databases.

Basic Qualifications/You Will Have

• Knowledge and expertise to make sound business decisions and assist leadership in those thought processes.
• Ability to understand, retain, and follow Company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of data input or data entry, spreadsheet administration, and management systems.
• Ability to learn terms, standards, and technical aspects of the Key Control Department.
• Must understand the impact of changes or modifications to database systems and downstream impacts.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with a dynamic and diverse team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency within a Windows environment.
• Willing to be flexible with work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with Maximo.
• Ability to handle confidential information and material.
• Familiarity with Internal Walt Disney World Policies and Procedures.

Required Education

• High school degree or equivalent
