Overview
In this Sr Business Analyst/SDET role, you will act a point of contact between business stakeholders and the technology delivery team as well as build out automated test suites in our Individual Investors space. You will be integral in supporting our Individual Investors Shopping Experience through the use of Adobe Target and Adobe Experience Manager. This is a central role in the agile delivery team focused on eliciting requirements, writing and refining user stories with the business stakeholders as well as developing and executing end to end manual and test automation suites. Success in this position is marked by strong relationships with both business users and the technology delivery team, meeting the delivery of MBIs on schedule, and the ability to work independently with minimal day to day guidance to drive work forward.
Role summary and job responsibilities:

  • Working closely and develops relationships with a variety of senior level internal and external business partners to ensure that all business requirements are understood, documented, and met
  • Assisting in implementation of new processes as technologies, risks, and methodologies evolve
  • Defining complex or enterprise-wise business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes
  • Able to evolve a decision as new information is gained
  • Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases, maintaining and adding to existing automation framework, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of toolsets to augment QA and development testing
  • Seeking to identify when junior engineers need help and providing it in a positive way that promotes confidence
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for unit, functional, regression, database, accessibility and performance testing including UI, API and services testing
  • Ensuring a lean-agile mind-set is applied to work projects
Business knowledge
  • You demonstrate knowledge of product/flows within the domain supported
  • You articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions
  • Your decisions show a focus on current and future business priorities, together with fiscal responsibility
Typical Qualifications
  • Ability to write effective functional and technical user stories
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 5+ years of relevant end to end test automation experience coupled with Product Owner/Business Analyst experience
  • Previous experience with Adobe Experience Manager
  • Ability to perform data analysis on complex data models using SQL; knowledge of data modeling a plus

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of agile best practices
  • Ability to multi-task, balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Work collaboratively across agile teams with both analysts and developers to coordinate related efforts
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor, Postman, REST Assured, Jmeter, etc
  • You identify system/process/data impacts (upstream and downstream) and propose appropriate alternatives/ remediation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical to success
  • Above all, a willingness and motivation to learn and grow with the team
  • Extensive experience interfacing with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to build and implement automated testing frameworks from scratch
  • Financial Industry experience
  • Identify impacts across teams and coordinate across senior levels to manage dependencies and potentially competing priorities
