Sr. Business Systems Analyst (Full Time; Remote; Multiple Openings)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for working with cross-functional teams to understand processes, gaps and goals and to develop business systems and solutions to meet functional needs of business units.

JOB DUTIES: Analyzing existing and future state business processes, systems and flows of data; Participating in systems implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution); Leading Business Requirements sessions and interviewing cross-functional Subject Matter Experts to elicit business requirements; Managing the product development lifecycle for system development and improvement projects to support business services; Working with cross-functional teams to develop project milestones and timelines for development, UAT, production validation and go-live; Owning RingCentral IT Data Inventory program; Developing and maintaining documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems; Taking initiative to gather information, investigate gaps/issues with RingCentral's software systems, identifying potential solutions and presenting solutions to Business and IT stakeholders; Partnering with business and internal and external technology teams to define associated system requirements and solutions; Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, decomposing high-level information into details, abstracting up from low-level information to a general understanding; Distinguishing user requests from the underlying true needs to align with macro vision and strategy and determining feasibility of new features.

REQUIRED SKILLS/TOOLS: Experience with ANSI SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, JIRA, Redshift, Snowflake, Hadoop, Vertica, software development lifecycle (SDLC), Alteryx, StreamSets, GDPR, CCPA and SOX compliance is required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE /
QUALIFICATIONS: U.S. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technologies or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Technologies or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience, is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
