Job Description
Reporting to the Entertainment Manager, this position supports the Entertainment Department by ensuring all shows are properly promoted on casino digital signage, social media, our website, print materials, and video content. This position collaborates directly with promoters, artists, and our internal marketing team to gather assets, ad mats, ad plans, and press materials for all shows. A team player who can work with multiple departments while also being an independent contributor


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with creating music playlists and developing appropriate VIBE for events on property.
  • Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.
  • Report social media activity and email marketing campaigns on a regular basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Serve as point of contact for photographers, approved media, and onsite radio promotions as needed.
  • Design and resize graphics for social media, web, and digital signage on property.
  • Plan and execute customer email campaigns using the Ticketmaster Engagement platform.
  • Attend and participate in off-property functions and events as assigned.
  • Perform work regularly and predictably.
  • Develop, implement, and manage digital signage to promote shows and events around the property.
  • Update venue website as needed.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
  • Coordinate social media campaigns including creative, messaging, and promotions to raise awareness, build our online audience, and generate ticket sales.
  • Create an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain their choice for entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)


This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital and/or Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field; or 1-2 years of graphic design and brand marketing experience for a live music venue or entertainment company.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.)


  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Prior experience in Tribal Gaming preferred.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Prior experience in the Gaming industry preferred.
  • Must obtain and maintain valid licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • Prior experience in Entertainment and Live Music industry strongly preferred.


KNOWLEDGE OF


  • Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent planning, analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding and knowledge of the property’s local and regional entertainment market a plus.
  • Strong strategic marketing, brand marketing, and integrated marketing skills.
  • Working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, Trip Advisor, Yelp, and blogs.
  • Website development, content management, and best practices.
  • Excellent writing and grammatical skills.
  • Hard Rock’s marketing functions including, but not limited to advertising and branding.
  • Procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, and databases to include excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, WordPress or other related website content management system, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage changing requirements and short timelines, as well as multiple overlapping projects simultaneously.
  • Participate in the development and administration of goals, objectives, and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • This position spends time on the casino floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds and noise, and the severity of which depends upon guest volume.
  • Interpret and explain policies and procedures.
  • Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
