SOLUTIONS CONSULTANT OVERVIEW (flex in NY Metro or remote outside of NY Metro*):

The Solutions Consultant’s primary role is to successfully launch client implementations, utilizing the optimal system configuration, that maximizes the value of the Operative platform(s) for their business.

In this role you will be a critical implementation project resource, both for clients and internal teams, advising on matters of configuration design, best practice recommendations, application functionality as well as providing support and training to the client to ensure their business requirements are met. The role involves daily client interaction, including Executive and Senior leadership, as well as internal collaboration with domestic and international product managers, project managers, development, QA and IT teams.

A successful Solutions Consultant is an organized problem-solver, an effective communicator and facilitator, and can operate at both a strategic and tactical level. This role reports to the Solution Architect in the Services organization

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with clients on product training, UAT and testing scripts process, preparing training materials and conducting “train-the-trainer” sessions with clients.
• Support clients post-go live during their transition to Support. Be the first line of support consulting on system functionality and changes to business workflow.
• Collaborate on internal initiatives and departmental projects
• Perform Operative product(s) demonstrations to internal and client audiences.
• Understand the project timeline, milestones, and deliverables, driving execution to deliver the project on-time and under budget.
• Support the Data Migration team by assisting with system mapping and testing migrated data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce user guides and system documentation.
• Continually research current and future system capabilities and propose configuration changes to maximize customer value and adoption.
• Field client feedback and respond to reported issues, working closely with Product and Engineering teams to resolve.
• Collaborate with client and internal teams to design the optimal configuration and assess the impacts of various configuration options, informing the client of any issues or risks with the recommended solution(s).
• Provide project leadership and guidance to Associate Solutions Consultants
• Support the Solution Architect leading client discovery and configuration workshops to understand the client’s current configuration and business processes.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with various advertising technology systems, including CRM (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Ad servers (Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, Appnexus) and/or linear deal entry / traffic systems, DSP/SSP/Exchanges, and financial systems (Oracle, SAP).
• Leadership skills a plus.
• 3+ years of relatable experience and background in the Broadcasting Industry working with Ad Sales or background in support providers for similar broadcast and advertising sales management systems.
• Literacy and knowledge of standard business operations and productivity software: MS Outlook/Word/Excel/Powerpoint, Salesforce, JIRA
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Background in one of three verticals digital, local, Network a must.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience successfully delivering large-scale software implementations.
• Deep understanding of industry challenges, trends, traditional and non-traditional competitive landscape, etc.
• Business or technical consulting experience for enterprise-level clients
• Knowledge of various advertising, software development and cloud technologies, including API concepts and Kafka data streams, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Java, Kibana

*Our current flex/remote policy: If you live w/in the metro NY/NJ/CT Metro area, there will be a flex policy of 2 days per week (Tues/Thurs) in our Manhattan office. If you live outside of the NYC metro area, the role will remain remote.

The base salary range for this role is $80,000-$120,000 plus $8,000-$12,000 performance bonus. Salary ranges are determined through alignment with market data. The base salary amount offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills.
