The LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS), Go-To- Market Enablement Team is looking for a Leadership Development Consultant to drive our Leadership Development and Coaching strategy. This person will work directly with our sales team to further develop their skills and knowledge to drive growth and deliver customer value. The Leadership Development Consultant will be responsible for enhancing and operationalizing a culture of coaching across the Marketing Solutions sales organization.


THE GO-TO-MARKET ENABLEMENT (GTME) TEAM: GTME team owns the business relationships and drives enablement strategy. Our global remit is to enable and empower the field and sales managers in their region/segment to do the best work of their careers. We raise the bar in how we think about Sales Excellence and to embrace learning and growth across Sales Competencies, Sales Methodology, Sales Process and Sales Coaching. This team is essential to making learning land, stick, and drive meaningful value for our global business.   


THE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT ROLE: As the owner of the Leader Journey, this position offers an exciting opportunity to be embedded in the business as the Coach’s Coach and Sales Leadership subject matter expert – acting as a trusted partner to Sales Leaders and Managers. This person will partner with LMS Sales Leadership to drive learning effectiveness and business impact across the globe in LMS. This role is an extension of the sales leadership team and is a SME and consultant on leadership development and coaching strategy. An ideal candidate for this role is passionate about learning (and reinforcement), they possess the ability to coach and teach, they have deep business acumen and build strong relationships with our sales leaders, they are energetic around owning end-to-end programs themselves and they are innovative, future-focused thinkers. This person needs to be comfortable operating in ambiguity with open-mindedness, agility, positivity, and a continuous commitment to iterating and improving.  They are strategic and systemic thinkers who get stuff done!  They provide key input into the Central Global Coaching Team to ensure that Coaching and Development programs are being built in a way that will best drive value in-market. They will be responsible for building strong coaches and operationalizing the global foundational coaching programs in LMS.


Leadership Consultant Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 


  • Leads the execution of key events with a focus on coaching & practice (i.e., a team offsites/coaching summit)
  • Establishes a strong, trust-based relationships with internal GTME leadership, working team, cross-functional partners, and executive stakeholders
  • Examines sales field work, priorities, and the environment to determine where and how to tie in coaching and other field operational opportunities that deliver measurable outcomes for the business 
  • Trains & enables a group of field Leaders as Advanced Coaching experts & facilitators, and rolls out peer coaching programs to further embed coaching culture in the business
  • Provides Sales Leadership development expertise by building and embedding coaching & leadership operational processes with Field Managers and Leaders to insure proper adoption of coaching practices at all leadership levels
  • Provides visibility to Field Manager+ on roadmap and programs, including Coaching Roadmap and Leadership Summits
  • Observes Managers and Leaders coaching direct reports, provides feedback to improving Leader’s coaching skills in order to drive stronger performance and impact
  • Measures and shares progress and feedback against global programming
  • Facilitates coaching adoption including workshops, group coaching and 1:1 coaching session focused on coaching for sales performance


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications 


  • 6+ years of experience in related roles: enablement, consulting, coaching, sales, program management, sales strategy, change management
  • 4+ years of Management experience 
  • 4+ years' experience in facilitating learning content to team(s), either within current role or as a stand-alone role


Preferred Qualifications


  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to take command of a room, experience leading senior leader enablement programs 
  • Coaching certification or accreditation and proven experience in driving a culture of coaching and practice (via references, testimonials, etc.)
  • Strategic thinker who is able to see the entire system, and make recommendations accordingly for subsystems
  • Ability to bring a point of view, make recommendations and get alignment on proposed strategy with key stakeholders
  • Experience and demonstrated record of accomplishment of coaching to sales outcomes
  • Experience with change management and leading organizational transformation 
  • Demonstrated ability to build programming that is innovative and effective in driving business outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Effective sales coaching skills and ability to unlock those skills in others from individual contributors to VPs
  • Knowledge of adult learning, learning design, program development/management
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in fast pace, high-growth environments

The pay range for this role is $134,000 to $205,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
