We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative and fun-loving team members, and are looking for a Site Merchandising Manager to come join our New York based headquarters.
The Role:
This role will be responsible for leading the execution of the Site Merchandising strategy and is accountable for constantly raising the bar of Tommy John’s digital content output to create best-in-class digital experiences. The ideal candidate will support the creation of a robust a/b testing and personalization strategy to enhance the exposure of the overall product offering to deliver an optimal shopping experience. They will be obsessed with accuracy, efficiency, and relevance across the full journey to elevate the presentation of our online product assortment. Additionally, they will be driving a new digital campaign planning process with cross functional teams including Marketing, Creative, and Merchandising to support brand initiatives, seasonal moments, and new product launches.
Responsibilities:
- Build personalized merchandising experiences in collaboration with CRO and marketing to create a cohesive shopping experiences across the site
- Manage the site activation calendar to support new product launches, promotions, seasonal moments, and brand campaign launches
- Lead overall asset planning including wire framing and briefing for content needs and continue to move the process forward for overall campaign and site needs for seasonal shot lists
- Collaborate with the Merchandising team on seasonal priorities, product education, assortment selling trends, delivery updates, and product master data accuracy
- Complete competitive analysis to identify industry trends and use insights to elevate the customer experience online
- Maintain our product master data to ensure accuracy and assist in product feed requirements to enhance functionality both on site and through 3rd parties experiences
- Create an A/B testing roadmap related to category creation, sequencing, and linking journeys to continue to drive the site merchandising strategy forward and improve overall product discovery
- Input into the merchandising roadmap in collaboration with the Product Manager to support brand initiatives, new product launches, and emerging shopping trends online
- Work closely with Marketing on campaign linking strategies and communicate opportunities through newly created online journeys
- Develop and drive the sequencing strategy on the product listing pages and work with the Site Merchandising team to improve overall site KPIs including click-through rates, add to to cart, conversion, and product sell-through
- Lead a small but mighty Site Merchandising team to execute the merchandising strategy online including category creation, product setup, navigation, and search optimization to elevate the overall digital shopping journey
- Execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance recaps on merchandising and overall site KPIs to be shared across management and executive levels
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative in planning and executing campaign launches across the customer journey
Requirements:
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience effectively managing a team
- 3 - 5 years of work experience within DTC e-commerce and/or Site Merchandising
- Bachelors degree in Business, Merchandising or related field
- Self started and highly motivated to create a best in class online experience
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Heap, Google Analytics
- Strong organizational skills; detailed and process oriented

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills to assess performance and drive actionable insights
- Strong interpersonal skills; a team player
- Ability to be on-site in our HQ Office in Lower Manhattan 3 days per week
- Knowledge of online merchandising best practices
- Experience with a/b testing and personalization pertaining to site merchandising a plus
- Proficient understanding of site merchandising systems & platforms
