Position
Job Title: Senior Manager, Merchandising, Shoes
Reports to: Senior Director, Merchandising, RTW & Shoes
Job Purpose
Responsible for supporting the business strategy, buying process, allocation and distribution of Women’s Shoes in the Americas Boutiques in accordance with total company strategic business plans.
Tasks And Responsibilities
Merchandising Functions
  • Communicate and Partner very closely with Retail teams on client needs and day to day inquiries
  • Assist in buffer management and stock rebalances
  • Review and follow up with shipping and deliveries
  • Review sales results on Advertising campaigns and catalogue styles
  • Develop a strong understanding of market dynamics and needs through store visits and seasonal competitor analysis
  • Support in new store openings and pop ups
  • Work with Senior Merchandise Managers on effective communication with the Paris central merchandising team to provide feedback and outline needs of the market
  • Responsible for Seasonal Reserve process: buy book creation, communication and follow up with boutiques, ensuring client orders are filled accurately, strategically adjust allocations
  • Review weekly sales reports ensuring planned sales and stretch are achieved
  • Manage inventory for store events
  • Support Senior Director on Weekly/Monthly Sales, Receipt and Stock forecasting. Use analysis to make accurate projections and present strategies to improve inventory productivity and sell-thru.
  • Recommend opportunities to place reorders in Women’s Shoes
  • Recap show and incentive results
  • Manage markdown preparations (recommend styles to markdown)
Profile
  • Partner with boutiques on feedback before and after collection is presented
  • Define store assortment by product category and by store cluster
  • 4 seasonal markets in Paris Market:
  • Create premarket analysis: by store, classification and sizing. Identify opportunities within each region.
  • Size by SKU and by Boutique based on analysis and boutique feedback/requests for top clients and market opportunities
  • Remain positive, energetic, and organized while meeting tight deadlines during high-paced and demanding buying sessions
Reporting Functions
  • Prepare seasonal collection and sizing feedback for stores
  • Prepare weekly reports and newsletters
  • Provide end of season (EOS) product analysis and recaps
  • Prepare and review sell through report
  • Prepare and review fast/slow sellers report

Requirements
  • Ability for frequent travel
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (ie; Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Passion for the brand and for Women’s Shoes
  • Advanced Excel and Access skills preferred
  • At least 6-8 years prior Merchandising experience, luxury retail preferred
Additional information for internal candidate
The role will be offered an annual salary within the range of $120,000 - $145,000, plus opportunity for bonus, eligibility to participate in the Company's comprehensive benefits plans, along with additional employees discounts and perks.
