Position Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandising Manager to join our team. As a Merchandising Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating the assortment and production of our men's apparel products for our wholesale customers, as well as, our own brands.Your keen sense of style, market trends, and understanding of consumer behavior will contribute to the success of our brands.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·Develop and implement merchandising strategies to achieve sales targets and increase customer engagement.
·Analyze sales reports, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and make data-driven merchandising decisions.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, sales, and marketers to plan and execute merchandise assortments that align with the brand's vision and target audience.
·Work closely with the design and sales teams to determine product assortment, pricing, and inventory levels based on sales performance, market demand, and customer preferences.
·Monitor and analyze sales data, inventory levels, and product performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales opportunities.
·Manage the entire production process from PO writing and communicating with the factory on any issues to ensure on time delivery of goods
·Learn how to use ERP system, MAS
·Lead seasonal line reviews to help educate other team members about upcoming collections
·Provide training and guidance to merchandising staff
·Hybrid work schedule - 3 days in the office, 2 days optional work from home
Required Experience:
·Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Relevant work experience will also be considered.
·Proven experience in fashion merchandising or a related role, preferably within the retail industry.
·Strong knowledge of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
·Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
·Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines.
·Flexibility to travel for industry events, trade shows, and store visits as required.
